Our INSULATOR is being used in ceramic and refractory formulations. It can be used to make refractory concretes that operate at temperatures up to 1,000 degrees, as well as in the formulation of medium temperature refractory bricks.
It can also find application such as non-ferrous metal casting where the temperature does not exceed 1,000 degrees. Our insulator is a very clean and homogeneous material, although it has a low alumina content.
We have high alumina refractory grogs ranging from 70 to 90% Alumina for very special applications, such as resistance to extremely high temperatures.
Our products are also very clean and homogeneous, which gives the refractory manufacturer the confidence that the product will be fully functional.
We have two grades of magnesium oxide for the refractory, ceramic, animal feed, or chemical industries with a purity of 96 to 98% MgO.
We have two other grades of lower purity and thicker that can be applied in other industries such as chemical industry, steel or animal feed.
For the manufacture of refractory insulators, we have developed our floating ash or FLY ASH with low density and very low price.
We also have a mineral called Biotite that has application in INSULATING REFRACTORIES. Our biotite is a mineral similar to Vermiculite, although with less expansion. It is a Mexican product and partially replaces Vermiculite, which has a higher cost.
